Scary Stuff, Scaaary Stuff!

For the average person today is Halloween, now it's also a special day for people who follow a different path regarding religion and beliefs but I don't follow those paths so I can't speak about them. Debra from "She who seeks" and Leanna from "Can we have a new witch" are better at providing this type of viewpoint. Yesterday Maddie had some good thoughts about past Halloweens, they were about having fun, maybe we didn't have all the costumes etc that people have today but we had a lot of fun.

I bought some of those little chocolate bars, I usually don't get kids coming to the door but it's better to be prepared.... and then eat them later if nobody comes. Unfortunately it's raining so hard today that there are weather warnings being given out, so I doubt if I will see one child. I have a scary movie lined up, it's "Get Out", I always wanted to see it and it was on sale for $4, so I bought it.

Now I will turn this over to someone who understands Halloween better than I do. Mr Halloween himself. Hope this doesn't frighten you off!

Happy Halloween! Now remember... tomorrow is a work day so lay off the boos!

Pretty sure the Prince of Darkness would have better jokes?

Cracked me up!LOL I'm waiting for my other to get ready so we can hit the street. BTW, booing in the US is reserved for corrupt politicians in the Whitehouse!

It's five thirty here and I'm turning off the lights and going to bed. A fever has hit me out of nowhere and I'm freezing. Wah! Night all.

Michael, see this is why you are my favorite of all my blog children! :D

That was really cute. I mean, isn't everybody just here for the candy?

Love those videos, LOL! And I did NOT see that Old Lurker twist coming! Happy Halloween!

A man in a sheet and a sexy voice like that gives me all kinds of dirty thoughts. Now where's that candy????????

Are you hiding that candy? When I think of men and sheets talking to me in a deep voice my mind goes to candy, of course.
And you cracked me UP! Too funny! I see Lurkie popped up.
Hope somebody did show up! It was rainy and cold here and I only saw a few children going house to house but the spirit lives!

XoXo

Well done! Here in the Chicago area we had a snow storm most of the day. I was able to clear the drive and the sidewalks for the little urchins. Unfortunately the cold weather kept most of the kids (or their parents) away. Now I’ve got all of this damn candy at work. 😕

Deedles oh no! You have offended Mr Halloween, he's probably releasing a bathtub spider right now!

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Lurker, well you should know? Hope you didn't mind being teased!

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Jimmy, I also heard there was a huge demand for eggs past their best before date!

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Deedles, see what I mean! Bad things are happening. Send all your Halloween candy!

Hope you are feeling better today.

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Dave, yes you are right, it's all about the candy! :D

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Debra, thanks and yes I hope people thought that was funny, especially Lurky, there's that saying, "they tease you because they like you".

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Maddie, no more candy for you, soon none of your dresses will fit! Snap!

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Sixpence, glad you liked my Halloween comedy show lol. Lurky had it coming! :D
It rained really really heavy last night but the wind was terrible, trees down etc. I didn't see many kids out on my way home. I didn't get any kids but we haven't had any for about thirty years now.

HuntleyBiGuy, yes unfortunately the night was ruined by extreme weather, rain like I have never seen before and heavy winds. It's snowing out today but not staying thankfully.

I'm actually, feeling worse. Temperature's rising and I'm shaking so badly that I can barely type this. Balder Half's off from work so I see soup on my horizon. I just hope I can keep it down. To add insult to injury, you called Michael your favorite blog child! You may feel this way but it is damaging to the other children when you say it in front of them. Shame, shame, shame on you! I'm going back to bed.

Old Lurker said...

Oh no! Poor Deedles. I hope you get better soon. I am sure you are Steven's second favorite, which is not so bad. (Okay, maybe third after Debra. Or fourth after Debra and Cali Boi. But I am sure you are up there somewhere.)

Deedles, if you want Daddy's love, you have to laugh at all his jokes! Let's be honest here, Michael is my easy child, the rest of you (and goddess bless all of you) are a handful.
Now soup away those gremlins of sickness! Juice, ginger ale all the yummy stuff. Just no jello... ewww... well unless you like that. Get well, hopefully it's not the flu. I have no favorites, I love all my blog children in their own special way... it's just some seem to be more "special" than others :/ lol.

Sooo-this-is-me said...

...and where are you in that line Lurky? ; )

Old Lurker said...

A few spots below Neha.

Sooo-this-is-me said...

Yes but that joke is funny enough to now move you above even the illuminati guy!
