Is this a joke.... hey Universe?

I woke up to a strange noise, it was kind of a soft ouwaa, ouwaa and a loud thumping sound on one of the old sheds across from the house. I went to the window and there was a large bird sitting on the roof, did I say large, I meant huge! I said out loud, (what the hhhheck is that)? I went and got the binoculars, it was a vulture. I nervously laughed to myself, "is this some kind of sign or something". I snapped a picture but I couldn't find my camera so I used my phone and I couldn't bring it in closer. In the real world, at first it almost looked like someone's flying monkey stopped to rest, it was that big.

Ummm, err hey Universe are you trying to tell me something? Last year you sent a peacock, I prefer that one, send one of the nicer birds.

Vultures serve a useful purpose. Peacocks just strut around looking pretty, preening and screeching bloody murder! Lay off the dating apps! Honestly, I don't know where that came from (from whence that came?).

Anne Marie, yes it's a turkey vulture, they are very common here but they are usually very very shy and stay away from buildings. Maybe it could smell my dead love life! Lol

Deedles, yes I know they are useful, I think they are way cool, if something gets killed on the road, I take it and put the carcass in a field to watch the vultures circling and then come down. They clean everything up leaving no smell, so I like them. I have never met one on a dating app though, just to let you know. Hahaha!

Tell the universe you're not dead yet.

Where I used to live before I bought this house, vultures would fly to the middle school near my apartment and rest on the lights on the track field. When I would walk Murphy there, they would be perched above me staring at me and it creeped me out like no tomorrow. Once I counted and there were 30 of them. The movie "The Birds" would always come into my head!

The Universe is saying, "Don't sell your farm, because otherwise this turkey vulture will be sad. Also if you move to city I will send you pigeons and raccoons with wings instead of these big beautiful birds."

Not fond on those hideous looking things. I would welcome the peacock Steven...or just a cock.

@Deedles...now what is wrong with the poor peacock walking around strutting and looking pretty? That is my favorite bird...I'd have several if I could. Although up the road there are several and sometime a loose comes this way screeching.

I see your point.

Steven and Maddie, I was speaking metaphorically, boys! Hence the app remark. I didn't say I was good at it.

For some reason I remember those vultures from the Looney Tunes cartoons. The ones that were sorta dorky. So it might be a fun sign?
