Speaking of full moons, meaning I'm talking about the real moon, (not bare bums). This week we are supposed to have a rare event on January 31st. It's supposed to be a super moon because the moon is at its closest point to earth, a blue moon because there will be two full moons in January and also a blood moon because there will be a lunar eclipse causing the moon to appear red. The blood moon is supposed to happen in the morning, just before the moon sets, so some people may get to see it while eating breakfast or traveling to work. Hopefully it will be a clear night, I missed the last super moon and want to see this one. I read where this trifecta has not happened since 1866. This will clearly signal the beginning of armageddon, or should I say ARMAGEDDON!!!! Also known to rational people as "the day when something kinda cool happens but I will probably forget to watch".

The Blood Moon will be best seen on the west coast...us east coast folk will not be able to see it due to timing and location. Already, the witchy, pagan groups are preparing their magical wands and cauldrons to cast spells and enjoy the bi-annual event. For my part, if I don't fall asleep before the moon appears in South Florida, I hope to catch a glimpse and marvel at another one of nature's beautiful events. I have not decided if I'll regard it in the buff, sky-clad, or naked, but armageddon or not, nothing beats a beautiful night in the tropics.
And it will all take place on Carol Channing's 97 birthday.....god, I'm so gay.
I do hope to see the blood moon though.
Walter, news outlets are saying we will get a glimpse of the blood moon as it sets, usually though whenever there is something interesting like that, it rains or snows and I see nothing. Please do watch it in the nude!
Maddie, you're into drag and know more about it than the average small city combined, so yes I don't think you could be any more gay!
Lucky us! ;)
This is why you can't get rid of the farm. How else will you be able to view the moon without the light pollution?
NO NUDITY IN JANUARY.
Mr Lurker, I have been saddened recently by light pollution creeping into my night sky. You may see a post about that soon enough.
No nudity in January I promise, I am wearing enough clothes to bed that I probably have double the amount on that the average teenager wears outside.
