Time slips on.

How is it that yesterday was already July 21st, June 21st is a sad day here, it signals that the days will begin to get shorter, that feels like only a week ago, now it's a month already, summer is passing by. This week all the garden shops were closing up for another year, most of you people won't understand my dread, we only have another four to five weeks of summer left here and we actually haven't had summer weather yet. It has been unusually cool and has literally rained almost every day this summer, yuck so depressing. Better end this post here before it turns into August 21st.

I hear you. I am most definitely a spring summer person. Our weather here is hot still and the nightfall usually sets in around 8. I will most certainly enjoy the beach and glamping while there is still time to sun my bare ass. I actually wear a square cut though...I find the tan line sexy of guys. Enjoy the time we have left!

Here in blazing sunshine 35-45C we can not wait for the summer to whiz by.
You are always welcome to visit here - esp in November and Feb/March when you need a break

Maddie, lol..... now you know what we always say in blog land, "if there are no pictures... then it didn't happen"!

Nights as low as +2C, rain, showers, rainy showers, showery rain, hail, sleet and clouds upon clouds of blood sucking mosquitoes, lol I think I need a break now!

When I lived in upstate NY I remember those elusive summers. Some years there wasn't even a summer and the mosquitos and black flies were rampant. Now I am living Virginia where the summers are hot. Last night the low was around 80 degrees. As I am typing this, I am sitting under a ceiling fan with the AC on, too hot to go outside!

I know it can be difficult when the night doesn't cool down, you don't get a needed break. However take today for example, its July 24 and I drove to work with the car heater on! It's only 13 Celsius, it's freezing, I had the heater on again coming home, plus they are saying 100 millimeters of rain, rain, rain. Summer never started here.

JP, that is what they are saying about here as well, that the jet stream is over us instead of being north of us as usual. Today I am seriously thinking about turning the heat on to warm up the house!

And we are getting a cool spell...no days in the 90s. Not sure what that is in Celsius. I think I will take the heat over what you have. Hope that it warms up some before autumn comes!

Michael 54, yes a little heat would be nice. The dark rainy days is really draining, it's like we are having November in July, not that cold (almost lol) but no sunshine.
