No coffee for me thanks. : (

I quit drinking coffee about three weeks ago and I find that I don't miss it. Nope, just kidding, that's a pile of bull bleep, man oh man would I ever enjoy a cup right now! I was never a big coffee drinker, I actually only started drinking coffee regularly about fifteen years ago, with breakfast. It was during the hour earlier spring time change, I couldn't snap out of feeling sleepy at work. My friend and coworker suggested I try a cup of coffee, "HELLO" it worked great! After that I started having a cup of coffee in the morning before work. Mostly just the instant stuff which is supposed to be milder on the system. Sometimes I would enjoy a "real" coffee from a coffee shop.

When I started working where I am now, I was told the coffee was free and so I would sometimes enjoy a cup with lunch or one in the afternoon if I felt sleepy. That changed this year, I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or I have developed some type of intolerance towards it but coffee makes me feel crazy. I feel terrible after having a cup, I feel hyper, I feel anxious like something bad is about to happen, my hands shake, I sweat like I ran upstairs and some days I feel dizzy. I decided no more.

I guess that I shouldn't be surprised by the addiction to it because it is a type of drug. I certainly miss it and in the morning I am constantly thinking about how much I would love a cup. I have tried having tea instead but that's just a cup of disappointment, there's nothing wrong with tea, I like it as well but when you are wanting a cup of coffee, it just won't do. I read that growing coffee is bad for the environment, so I guess I'm saving the planet, at least there's that. Steve want coffee. : (

I've been drinking coffee since I was twelve. Switched to half-caff a few years back. It's the caffeine that can get you a little cray-cray. Have you tried a good decaf? This isn't helpful, is it :)

I only drink coffee on the weekend after breakfast. Good luck avoiding coffee.

I have to have my two cups of Ethiopian Yirgacgeffe daily. Once married you'll see the benefits of all my coffee drinking cutie.

I do caffeine and nicotine (vape) and don't plan on changing.

I plan to go out on a bang baby!

Maddie, what's a "bang baby"?

A bang baby is a toddler with a gun. I presume that Maddie's use of "go out on" and yours are not the same. (We can hope, anyways.)

As for Steven: You should have listened to Nancy Reagan. I know you weren't born when Nancy Reagan was saying those things but you should have listened to her anyways.

Deedles, what's the point of decaffeinated coffee, it should be banned! No just kidding but it's easier to cut it out, decaf only makes me want the real thing. I'm complicated. Lol

Richard, I can't anymore, it does weird things to me.

Two cups eh, I heard the people around you want it that way, not that you are grumpy at times or anything like that.

Jimmy, vaping people in their cars always look like they are on fire.

Anne Marie, I didn't see you as a Starbucks drinker. Fortunately booze still relaxes me so I don't have to give up everything. Lol

Maddie, then instead of coffee, you need to eat beans!

Deedles, two words that should never ever ever be placed together going forward!

Old Lurker, you mean, "Ronnie stop getting advice from Bonzo" or "honey people in television and movies should never become president"?

I can’t with coffee. Don’t drink it.
I don’t understand the lure of Starbucks and its overpriced crap.
And what you feel is the rush of the caffeine, I guess. It may be that instant coffee is not that mild, then.

XoXo

Sixpence, it's both types of coffee that does it. Yes it's the caffeine but I'm not sure why it's doing this, it never bothered me before.

Steven, someone who drinks instant coffee has no business bad mouthing decaf! I'm not into Starbucks when they make the coffee, except for that whipped creamy, carmelishous, frappy machy thingy. I buy the ground Café Verona decaf (very good coffee) and mix it with my Folgers Black Silk, and then proceed to drink the whole pot. Yes, a pot, not those one serving poddy things! But I digress. If coffee is messing with your health, stop drinking it by all means. Be sure it's the coffee and not something else. You may have developed an allergy or something. Take care, honeybun.

Deedles, I'm starting to think I have "fallingapartinitus". I need to get myself checked out. Wait.. what.. a whole pot!!! I would like to judge you so that I could feel good about myself but I ate a box of cookies for dinner yesterday... and not one of those dainty little boxes. So ashamed :( Lol.

I had a coffee bean anal colonoscopy once.
That was interesting.

Cali Boi, the colon only holds waste material and then it moves it out, don't waste your time or money on any of that "snake oil salesman" crap (no pun intended) it doesn't do any good and can do harm. Anyway it's Saturday, shouldn't adorably handsome little you be out shagging somebody! Lol
