A bit too late.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, we find our gay hero contemplating a relationship between Adam or Mabel the cow. At least Mabel listens better and is much more predictable. Suddenly Adam sees me as a potential boyfriend or at least someone to hang out with boyfriend-ish like. I thought of Adam as boyfriend material once, I really liked him at first and could see trying to make something work between us. The thing is that now I see him as flaky, we might enjoy ourselves for a while but I no longer have any trust in him. Instead of feeling excited at the prospect of a new relationship, I envision the difficulties that will come between us. I see dating him as a chore now and not a great life moment.
He certainly has been asleep at the wheel, he was obsessed with flip flopping around regarding relationships. Right now, I no longer have any interest in a relationship with him, he waited too long, was too indecisive. He is too late or... he is really going to have to work at this.
let him work. Really. Now that you know him better it may be his turn to work on the relationship he -may- wanna have. If he does not, DTMFA, as Dan Savage says.

It sounds as if he's a big flirt. I would be a bit skittish around him since he sounds a bit flighty by your description. I would stand back and see if he changes his spots and becomes more mature.

DeleteAt the risk of sounding like I've been munching on granola and wearing crystals, I think Adam needs to go 'find himself' before getting into a relationship. Better to milk Mabel instead, at least for awhile.

Old Lurker, your suspicions would lead you astray. I blogged about him because he sent me a message that a boyfriend would send to be affectionate. He is expressing interest in me as more than a friend. All this has suddenly come out of the blue. I can be indecisive about things but not like this. I am mentioning it now because I'm disappointed with him. The flame went out before Christmas and now suddenly he wants to start something.
