Tirelessly incompetent.

Some days just seem to be too much, no matter how much I try to keep things in order, to make life simple, there just seem to be scores of people who work tirelessly to mess things up. Once messed up, the situation takes on a life of its own and then days are spent trying to turn things around. Once things are about to fall back into line, some good Samaritan comes along and decides to "help" by typing in the original mistake or pressing the wrong button again. Then people are surprised by your irritability! Snartblaster fubbergunts!

  1. Gah! On days like that, I take an aspirin, call it quits, undress, take to bed, pull the covers over my head, and wait it out. No sense in doing anything else other than wait for it to sort itself out. I hope yours blows over soon.

  2. "Snartblaster fubbergunts? You're going to make Anne Marie blush! Take deep breaths and chant "This too shall pass." It'll probably feel like passing a kidney stone, but it will pass!

  5. Uh oh. Are you still struggling with your green person?

Walter has the right idea. Take an aspirin, undress, and pull some covers over your head. You don't even need to wait until you are home to do this; just use the lunchroom.

  9. LoL @AnneMarie. I bet Steve would give us an eyeful 😉
And Walter is right. Sometimes we just need to chill and wait it out. Preferably in bed with the covers over our heads.

    XoXo

  10. Jimmy, not just at work, it's with everything I need to deal with, I find it rare these days that anything to do with paper work no matter how simple, gets screwed up.
